The Adventure Disc 2 is a sexy bike. Lightweight, fast, and able to tackle tarmac and dirt-tracks, it’s the perfect bike for the TransAmerica Trail. Reynolds 725 Steel Frame makes it stronger and lighter, while hand built Hunt wheels are perfectly tensioned and tubeless. With the Shimano 105 11-speed system, and 50 - 35 crankset with 11 - 32 cassette, the gear range can tackle the steepest climbs and hurtle you down the other side.

This bike is the most important piece of kit for this challenge. Every pound raised rests on the capabilities of the Adventure Disc 2 (and my legs not dying). But Temple Cycles have gone even further. By helping me auction this bike after the trip, we hope to raise even more money for Rape Crisis so their work can continue to shape policy and support survivors.
