Rape Crisis is the membership organisation for 39 crisis centers across England & Wales.
What
Rape Crisis England & Wales is the charity working to end sexual violence and abuse.
They provide specialist information and support to all those affected by rape, sexual assault, sexual harassment and all other forms of sexual violence and abuse in England and Wales.
This includes a 24/7 helpline, advice services, and specialist counselling. Police liaison is available for those who who choose to report to the police.
Why
1 in 4 women, 1 in 6 children, and 1 in 20 men have been raped or sexual assaulted. That is too many people.
All of these individuals deserve support. Rape Crisis is there to provide this support so people can pursue justice, recover from assault, and live safer lives without fear of sexual violence.
